"SHORT-CIRCUITED" (3/17/2001)
[Season (9) Episode 7 / Series Episode 385]
A battle is on once again against another mutant... this time brought down with a Chrono Saber attack from TRIP, NADIRA watching in amusement... Just as the Rangers are ready to call on CIRCUIT... he flies on in getting the miserable attention from NADIRA.
The Rangers form the megazord this time in JET MODE and in CYCLONE DEFENSE ATTACK against the mutant....NADIRA tries to sneakily get ahold of CIRCUIT but is not match for his flying speed. NADIRA seeming to come up with a plan... a finale TF Megazord Mode Red attack freezes this mutant once again.
At the Clock Tower, TRIP working on CIRCUIT's wiring and LUCAS and WES playing a game of poker... TRIP lets out a remark on LUCAS's deck of cards forcing LUCAS to have to top his gem and ground him for no mind reading for one day. TRIP sadly leaves with CIRCUIT.
Meanwhile NADIRA comes racing in to the mutant prison getting help from FRAX to get MEDICON and unfreeze him. As TRIP is out with CIRCUIT blabbing in his back pack suddenly woman with a batch of cyclobots comes running scared.
TRIP does everthing to try and save her only to find out it's NADIRA!... NADIRA comes up with a story trying to convince TRIP she's not really evil.
He falls for her story and is out to treat her with hot dogs she doesn't seem to like... Trying to convince TRIP to take off that backpack of his he does when she says she's full again to eat another "fresh" hot dog. Just as TRIP turns around, finds NADIRA with CIRCUIT in hands and races to save him but no luck!
At an old train station, MEDICON is doing handy work on CIRCUIT. As NADIRA walks in she shows the bird is no use to the Rangers anymore and sends MEDICON to attack. TRIP is out on deep hunt... as the Rangers are alerted of the attack from the Clock Tower.
TRIP is communicated by the Rangers and about to admit CIRCUIT's disappearance to JEN decides to just head off to fight... The Rangers fiercely fight and as WES is getting badly hit, TRIP arrives just in time. WES is first to send off a chrono saber attack and then KATIE on power up mode forcing the mutant to grow.
Just as WES is calling CIRCUIT to call the Time Flyers, TRIP tells of what happened to CIRCUIT and realize they can't call on the megazord without him. The Rangers get badly blasted from giant MEDICON. With a powered-down TRIP, LUCAS takes the patch he had placed on him before stating this is an emergency and no better time to use his gem. TRIP races off facing cyclobots first...
Coming to a safe spot, mind reads, and happy knowing where he is. As the Rangers keep getting blaster.. TRIP now morphed in his cycle heads off to find CIRCUIT. Just as NADIRA is praising their triumph.. think again, TRIP arrives!
A fight for CIRCUIT begins until NADIRA finally realizes she should retreat. TRIP fixes CIRCUIT and they make up.
TRIP arrives to the scene of battle with CIRCUIT behind ... happily the Rangers watch as the Time Flyers are called.... forming JET MODE then TF Megazord Red to put final saber attacks on MEDICON.
The Rangers are once again searching for CIRCUIT only to find him flying on to a tree branch above... TRIP apologizes for what happened but the Rangers accept and encourage TRIP to stay as kind and caring as all zybirans. TRIP gets kind response from LUCAS that it's alright to use the gem for emergencies only and as he starts to read something... LUCAS not wanting to know steps in a pile of droppings...
