"THE QUANTUM QUEST" (4/28/2001)
[Season (9) Episode 12 / Series Episode 391]
At the site of archeological diggers, a Doctor is called excitingly by a woman who shows they have uncovered something... they dig up and discover it to be some sort of wierd box. At the prison NADIRA cries as she watches Masked Rider, and becomes extremely upset to see her show has been cancelled to broadcast the box discovery of the archeological diggers.
NADIRA chooses the next mutant to be unfrozen. It's BRICKNECK and RANSIK gives him orders to go find that Quantum Control Box. Just as the crew is about to celebrate their discovery...
...the mutant shows up with a batch of cyclobots who attack the crew so he can get the control box. Just then do the Silver Guardians arrive and blast the cyclobots severely.
ERIC tries to take on the mutant alone prooving helpless.. WES arrives and saves him, ERIC not to happy about that. A fight ensues for possession of the Control Box. JEN surrounds the mutant with ERIC snooping in overhearing that the box contains Quantum Rangers powers.
The Rangers eventually group up. WES arrives and gains access to the box, but gets seriously blasted in the air in the process. ERIC sneaks the box away. The mutant flees as the Rangers go and assist the injured WES to bring him to the clock tower...
ERIC drags the box to a secret area, tries to unlock the powers but a serious blast shows he's not capable yet that is of possessing them. At Bio-Lab, Mr. Collins discusses matters with his Guardian staff and tells them to leave WES out of the ideas, just then does ERIC arrive to see if he can convince Collins to make him leader of the Silver Guardians. He rejects the offer stating he knows nothing about him. A not so convinced ERIC appears to have a plan up his sleeve.
At the Clock Tower, the Rangers aide a wounded WES, as CIRCUIT tells of how the quantum control box and the Q-rex Megazord got lost in a time travel experiment by Time Force. The mutant is out on the look out as flashes of the box begin to let him know where the location of it is. The Rangers immediately are alerted and head out in the vector cycles. An injured WES refuses to stay behind.
While on search the Rangers interrupt Brickneck's search and a battle begins... ERIC notices as he watches cyclobots in search of the box as he arrives. He immediately begins to kick butt and eventually gets surrounded.
WES arrives just in time to drag them both into a warehouse... surrounded by cyclobots a serious battle ensues. A severe blast sends ERIC off in the air. A blast from a cyclobot activates the control box mysteriously.
CIRCUIT arrives to try to get WES to stop ERIC from activitating the morpher. It's too late he morphs into incredible, similar uniform to that of WES's. Meanwhile Brickneck making toasts of the Rangers doesn't last very long as ERIC drops by mysteriously and blasts him.
WES arrives to tell it's ERIC who's used the Quantum Morpher to become the Quantum Ranger... With awesome maneuvers this new Ranger gets rid of cyclobots and eventually catch up to brickneck. The morphers voice computer tells ERIC to use powered up Quantum Defender.
He sends off incredible attack bringing down and shrinking the mutant... The other Rangers watch in amazement at the strength the new Quantum powers possess. They can't help but wonder what ERIC will do with such powers.
