"TRUST AND TRIUMPH" (6/2/2001)
[Season (9) Episode 18 / Series Episode 396]
NADIRA is out robbing a bank, the Rangers outside plotting a plan. WES becomes distracted when the Silver Guardians arrive to the scene. WES tries to get ERIC to get them out of there but refuses. WES is told that NADIRA is on her way out and totally blows off the plan when he comes right in front of her making her flee away. The other Rangers leave upset and ERIC just teases him.
At the tower, JEN really puts WES down. Eventually WES gets her back saying trust is a two-way street and that how is he suppose to trust her if she never lets nobody help her. Meanwhile at the prison, NADIRA in paradise, an illusion created from latest mutant. She tells the mutant to send the Rangers to somewhere "super nasty".
The cyclobots begin attacking a trade center. The Rangers are called to duty and arrive only for the mutant with his device to make them disappear to another dimension.
The Rangers land in some wierd dimension unfortunately not a friendly site when they find themselves seeing double set of Rangers, and the fight is on. The "real" rangers are badly getting beat.
When both sides decide to blast eachother with their v-weapons, both teams are blasted at and fallen. Suddenly the Rangers notice a break in the dimension and run towards it. All of them make it in. Unfortunately TRIP, KATIE, and LUCAS don't make it out, but WES and JEN do. The mutant with his evil Rangers appear to have yet more at hand for our heroes.
At the clock tower, CIRCUIT explains to WES and JEN how the dimension can be destroyed. Unfortunately this task will require them to trust eachother. Both nod agreement and head out. LUCAS, TRIP and KATIE trapped in the dimension are caught up to by the evil Rangers and enter another portal. Meanwhile WES and JEN are able to escape site of cyclobots at the trade center.
They prepare there strategy as WES prepares the electro booster and JEN sets things on her computer. JEN surprisingly talks out and trusts her story of how her ALEX met and how special he was to her cause of all that. WES seeing the sadness in JEN's eyes tries to head and comfort her unfortunately duty calls from CIRCUIT to continue there mission.
Agreeing to trust eachother JEN and WES split up... WES promising to not let her down. The other 3 Rangers end up in some wierd warehouse where they immediately morph when they see the evil rangers. JEN makes herself visible to the mutant and gets transported back to the dimension. KATIE, TRIP and LUCAS getting badly beat in their dimension as JEN struggles against evil pink who catches up to her.
Time runs out and luckily a blast from JEN inside the dimension and WES make it successfully to destroy the dimension. The mutant is out and surrounded by the Rangers. He unfortunately grows.
The Rangers summon the TF Megazord Mode Red, unfortunately getting duplicated by the mutant and the original getting badly beat. TIME SHADOW arrives in time so the Rangers can form mode blue to destroy the replica megazord. Both megazords form SHADOW FORCE Mode Blue and with a final TIME TARGET attack they freeze the mutant down to size.
At the clock tower, WES has set up a rather interesting training area with miniature pictures of the mutants. He uses some cheap gun to try and get JEN to see if she's focused enough to shoot them down. She's worthless so WES shows off a little.
Giving JEN another try, JEN flashbacks and remembers how ALEX used to help her the same way and convinces WES she does trust him. She's successful in this try putting a smile on her face.
