At Bio-Lab, testing on ERIC's morpher leads to failure when Dr. Zaskin reveals there is more data in the morpher not accessible meaning it's technology years before it's time, which leaves ERIC to think. Suddenly a code red signals ERIC and the silver guardians to head to work. They come to the scene trying to stop NADIRA in her next shopping spree. Managing to blow some cyclobots, the other 5 Rangers arrive making her flee. ERIC acting as hot shot trying to get a rise out of the Rangers.
At the clock tower, the Rangers discuss whether or not to tell ERIC they are from the future, cause maybe then he'll start working with them. Meanwhile at the prison CONWING is reanimated prooving to have some succesful technology in voice replication. ERIC at his home is paid a visit by a little girl who tells him everyone should have friends when suddenly some strangers come by and the girl witnesses as ERIC is taken away.
At a bridge, ERIC struggling to get free watches as the man reveals himself to be a mutant after his Q-Rex, and the men that have a hold of him turn into cyclobots. With a few struggles ERIC realizes he better do as the mutant says and summons the Q-Rex.
Showing no signs of intelligence, ERIC watches as the mutant tries to command the Q-Rex but knows he's voice activated. When ERIC tells him he takes out this strange device replicating ERIC's voice! With that he calls Q-Rex to megazord mode. As ERIC continues to struggle, the TF Rangers arrive just in time.
ERIC jumps off the bridge and heads off into the river getting blasted on the shoulder... JEN jumps in after him. The Rangers watch as the megazord heads to attack the city and summon the TIME SHADOW. They eventually catch up to CONWING who has a batch of cyclobots head to attack them.
As the TIME SHADOW attacks Q-Rex, at the lake JEN assists a wounded ERIC who stubbornly tries to get her off his back. ERIC appears to know more than he should when he tells JEN he knows they are from the future. JEN tries to convince him not to tell nobody not even Mr. Collins or it can ruin there whole mission. JEN walks off not getting any promise from ERIC... The TIME SHADOW gets badly beat as the Rangers do to.
JEN arrives blasting CONWING but no success as he blows JEN off with her V-weapon falling to the ground. Suddenly ERIC runs to the scene escaping Q-Rex and taking JEN's weapon and blowing his morpher off of CONWING's wrist and strapping it to his gaining control of the Q-Rex just in time.
CONWING doesn't appear to happy and grows blasting at Q-Rex and severely blasting the TF Rangers. ERIC watches and eventually morphs.
ERIC runs to plaza area only to get surrounded by cyclobots. ALEX from the future watches as ERIC struggles and sends him a transmission activating his new incredible MEGA BATTLE, with incredible maneuvers makes toast of the cyclobots.
CONWING appears to be after ERIC's home and traps the little girl who he had previously met to meet his birds. ERIC upset at the scene goes to amazing arial mode and witha final awesome sword attack makes history out of the mutant.
The Rangers watch as amazingly ERIC comes down from the sky... WES tries to ask him again to try and work together with them. Not answering he heads off.... At Bio-Lab Mr. Collins congratulates Dr. Zaskin on the Mega Battle who reveals he had nothing to do with it. Asking ERIC.. he denies and knowing as to such power and just focuses on his morpher.
At his home, ERIC gets his birdies back and thanks the little girl for being brave and saving them. WES from a distance watches as he makes his new little friend. ERIC appears happy to have a friend and share his birdies with her.
