"A PARTING OF WAYS" (3/3/2001)
[Season (9) Episode 6 / Series Episode 384]
The Rangers are in another battle with another mutant.. WES badly injures him forcing him to grow... but with TF Megazord Blue formation bringing him down and the final saber attack from Mode Red, another mutant is put to shrink.
At the Clock Tower, WES tells of how amazing it is for life to take such amazing turns. JEN tells him he's a "great" Red Ranger. As Mr. Collins is talking to his son, WES, about college and his part in his business suddenly a group of kids playing baseball send a ball to hit the limo..
Infuriating Mr. Collins, he decides to confiscated the ball, setting WES to wonder how his father can be that mean... of course as his father parts he returns the ball to the boy. At the Cryo Prison, RANSIK gets a massage, not the best, throws a cyclobot hard enough to break his head!
Meanwhile NADIRA drops in looking for a mutant and unfreezes TENTOCLAW, who appears in favorable means to RANSIK, since he did kidnap the mayor back in the year 3000... As a bus takes a load of children that were playing baseball previously, suddenly TENTOCLAW's head starts his dirty work and hijacking the bus!
With the kids scared wits... the Rangers arrive just in time on their VECTOR CYCLES... only to get LUCAS up in the air and a big explosion to bring down the others.
TENTOCLAW leaves behind a note as ransom requesting 10 million dollars to be delivered to the fountain at noon. WES leaves with an idea in mind to approach his father.
WES interrupts his father in the middle of a business meeting, trying to convince him to give him the $10 million dollars to free the children, but refuses and notices he is much more willing to give that money to help out some businesses. WES has a talk with Philips now stating it's like he wants to follow his own footsteps now. Meanwhile at a warehouse NADIRA has the kids from the bus hostage and will do nothing with them till she gets her $10 million dollars. The Rangers are on hot trait in their cycles.
At Mr. Collin's mansion, WES watches as the business people leave and with a smirk heads out to steal the check stating it's been signed for the wrong account.... JEN finds the school bus parked as WES confronts to give NADIRA the money. He does his part of the deal but NADIRA sends off order to destroy the kids! Not in the deal WES becomes infuriated.
TENTOCLAW ready to put his hands on those kids is stopped by a blast from JEN and the kids watch as 4 of the Rangers team up... Just as NADIRA is about to escape with the money WES escapes the cyclobots grips and heads off and with swing from his chrono saber and riding on his vector cycle he heads away with the case full of money, NADIRA surely not pleased.
The fight at the warehouse begins, just then does WES arrive and deactivate the force field holding the kids and the bus driver.... He sends them off to safety and the kid WES had returned the ball too previously promised another homer. The kid watches and cheers for the Rangers.
The fight is on, but as usual mutants are no match for our powerful heroes. A few blasts from chrono sabers and a final VORTEX BLASTER blast shrinks TENTOCLAW'S head. He grows without a head forcing CIRCUIT to call the TIME FLYERS.
The Rangers fight with TF Megazord Mode Blue and with a final TIME JET BLASTER blaster he's put to freeze once again.
WES arrives to the mansion to return the money to his infuriated father, just then do reporters arrive to gather information and learn from WES's word of mouth his father will be rewarding all $10 million dollars to the kids charity. WES then reveals he's off to follow on his own footsteps and not be a businessman.... He arrives to the Clock Tower as the Rangers are having fun eating popcorn and is gladly accepted into their place.
